For 10+ years, Perch and I have been making up stories about gazelles. They crop up in our daily
interactions, providing a make-believe parallel universe where our daily activities are mirrored in
a changed and distorted way. It's all a lot of fun.
In this collaboration, my mother used the lino printing technique to make a series of illustrations for
some of the gazelle stories. The end result was printed as a little book and presented as her art school
graduate project. Needless to say, she finished with top grades.
